Dear Sirs

My story is rather a strange one, but it may concern you as I believe I have been sold corrupt Microsoft software as the genuine article. I refer to software known as Word 2003 supplied with ‘Student and Teacher Edition 2003’ of various packages including Microsoft Office. This ‘Word 2003’ has various deficiencies including severely limited immediately available fonts.

Another point I would make is that when I phoned one of the two numbers I have for activating Microsoft software from Britain (0800 018 8354, the other being 00800 ACTIVATE (00800 22848283)) I spoke to three persons in New Delhi, India on the one occasion (I obtained their names), and another person in Bangalore, India on a second occasion (whose name I did not obtain), and most of them seemed too concerned to ask me unnecessary questions which I would suggest to you wastes Microsoft international phone time.

My freedom is curtailed in Britain because a legacy of the Socialist Governments of the 1970s is that I am drugged without my consent. I’m sorry to trouble you but I thought that by helping yourselves you might help me. I regard the United States as the Land of the Free.
